Vivo has officially launched the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro in India on Thursday, January 4. These latest additions to the Vivo X series are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 SoC and boast an IP68-rated build, ensuring water and dust resistance.

The standout feature of the Vivo X100 series is its impressive camera system, comprising triple rear camera units co-engineered by Zeiss, accompanied by Vivo’s in-house imaging chip for advanced image processing. Notably, the Vivo X100 Pro boasts a primary sensor with a Sony IMX989 1-inch type.

Both smartphones showcase curved 6.78-inch 8 LTPO AMOLED displays, offering a visually immersive experience with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Vivo X100 is supported by a 5,000mAh battery, featuring rapid 120W fast charging capabilities.

On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro is equipped with a 5,400mAh battery, supporting 100W charging. These cutting-edge handsets have already made their debut in China and select global markets, promising to elevate the mobile experience with their powerful performance and innovative features.

The dual SIM (Nano) device operates on the Android 14-based FunTouch OS 14 and boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED 8T LTPO curved display, delivering a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels. With a peak brightness of 3000 units, 2160Hz high-frequency dimming, and a remarkable 120Hz refresh rate, the display promises a visually immersive experience.

Under the hood, the Vivo X100 Pro is powered by an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, coupled with Vivo’s cutting-edge V3 imaging chip. This smartphone offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and is equipped with a G720 GPU for enhanced graphics performance.

The standout feature of the Vivo X100 Pro lies in its camera capabilities. In terms of pricing, the Vivo X100 Pro is set at Rs. 89,999 for the exclusive 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant, available in the sleek Asteroid Black shade.

Simultaneously, the Vivo X100 caters to a broader audience, with a starting price of Rs. 63,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 69,999. The Vivo X100 is available in the sophisticated Asteroid Black and vibrant Stargaze Blue colour options.

Both models are currently open for pre-booking and are scheduled for release on January 11. Interested buyers can secure their devices through Flipkart, the Vivo India online store, and various retail outlets. Additionally, customers pre-booking with SBI and HDFC bank cards can enjoy up to 10 per cent cashback and receive an upgrade bonus of up to Rs. 8,000, adding further value to this highly anticipated smartphone release.
